We appreciate the ethos of the hosts & their property. Immaculate Bach, fully equipped, beautifully maintained. Location is amazingly central to a variety of beaches; Tuapiro Point, Waihi Beach, and Kauri Point -with safe swimming spots, places to kayak or fish- or tourist attractions; Waihi Gold Mine, Waikino Train. A "must do" is a picnic in the Karangahake Gorge & walk through its tunnels...highly recommend taking a torch to do the "Windows Tunnel Walk", it’s a family friendly & free activity.

We were greeted by our host as soon as we arrived and were given a genuinely warm welcome, accompanied by a fresh bowl of fruit & fair trade chocolates, instructions on how to use the spa, along with "things to do & see" in the area should we wish. The hosts were very helpful (when we had enquiries) and yet still remained respectful of our privacy. It was definitely a wonderful way to end our holiday & begin a new year. Would love to stay there again in the future!

The perfect cottage. Possibly best value for money around! Great surroundings, amenities and hosts make this a holiday that is hard to top as this cottage has everything from Sky TV, to the spa pool, as well as kitchen facilities and extremely comfortable bed.

A lovely quiet spot, very comfortable cottage and very clean. Central to everything we wanted to do. Loved all the attractions, shops, staff friendly and helpful. Our hostess here, Christine, attentive and generous with fruit and vegetable. Sorry it is such a short stay. But hope to come back and will recommend the cottage to others. Thank you for a delightful 5 days.

Thank you for a wonderful relaxing 3 weeks in the Kiwifruit Cottage. We enjoyed each day and our travels in the area. You have been wonderful hosts and it was grand to feel like part of your family. We enjoyed the dinner together. You opened your hearts (and your kitchen!) to us. You have been a blessing in our lives and we hope to return.

Thank you for all the little extras which made us feel so welcomed… Meeting you and your lovely family will be part of the wonderful memories we take back to England from New Zealand which will remain with us always.
